Kaiba wakes in one of those fitful moments of light sleep to find that it's not as annoying as it should be. Notes: Nice little KaiJou piece. I like how it shows them together in a comfortable way, but without being overly sappy. Very nice. <3 ******
Title: Call Waiting Kaiba tries to work, Jou asks him a question and Kaiba is grateful for the existence of call waiting. Notes: Awesome. I love Kaiba in this, and Mokuba, too. Very them, and quite nice. <3 ******
Title: Frozen Warmth Kaiba hunched his shoulders, shivering as a sharp breeze cut through the loose folds of his jacket. He had a love-hate relationship with winter. Mokuba enjoyed it and conversely, Kaiba tolerated the biting cold and wet snow when it came around. But that tolerance only extended so far. Without his little brother at his heels, Kaiba only saw car-logged freeways and slush that had a habit of finding every crevice in his expensive shoes. Notes: Interesting; I like the look at Kaiba, though I'm not sure I can see him blushing that easily. ******
Title: Full Bore Kaiba Seto had a problem. Notes: I like how this author writes Kaiba; his narration is spot-on. ******
Title: Hazelnut Mocha Kaiba, Jou, and coffee. Notes: I really like Sora-sama's KaiJou. She's got a good handle on Kaiba, and the interactions between them. ******
Title: It Never Makes Sense Anzu decided Jou and Kaiba take too long to admit the truth. Notes: *Snicker* Matchmaker!Anzu amuses me for some reason. ******

Notes: This is an interesting fic; set so long after the time of the series, it's neat to see how the characters (namely Kaiba) have changed, and how they're still the same. ******

Title: Learning Process One thing to be said for train seats, Ed thought with a grimace, was that at least they were long enough that he could stretch out, and still have room for his equipment. Notes: This is an interesting start to a Hei/Ed fic. I just wish there was more! ******

Title: Sheet and Dagger Bakura. Marik. The morning after. Notes: Not a pairing I usually go for, but still interesting. Only one thing; using 'Malik' and 'Marik' to differentiate between Malik and his darker half is a pet peeve of mine, especially since some people refer to them both with 'Marik'. So, it's a bit confusing. =P ******

Title: Kono Fushigi Miryoku Jounouchi snorted and turned away from the door. No matter what was tried to dislodge him from his games and his solitary little world, Yuugi couldn’t be budged. He fisted the carved piece in his hand and smirked. If Yuugi couldn’t finish his current obsession, maybe he’d wake up and see that there were people around him, and not just games. Notes: Overall, I like this fic. There's some random Japanese, and they got one particular fact wrong (Shizuka doesn't live with Jou and their dad, and their mother isn't dead; their parents divorced, and their mom took Shizuka) One interesting thing is how they handled the whole Yami-as-another-side-of-Yugi thing...right at first, they didn't really think of Yami as a separate person, just another side of Yugi...I've not seen many fics that handle it like that. ******
Title: Spirit of the Puzzle Parodies Christina Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle" Notes: Oh, my...XD Nice, crack-y parody song. This is probably funnier than it should be. ******

So anyway, Becky likes to send me all these fanart when she goes hunting - I love it - but it tends to inspire silly little drabbles. Title: Urameshi Ken, and his ghosts. Notes: I must admit, I kind of like this sort of fic. It shows the aftermath of a mission; how they react, and how they deal with each other. The only thing that bugged me was the use of 'urameshi'. Normally, I can tune out fangirl Japanese, but I associate the word 'urameshi' with Yuusuke of YYH, before any actual definition of the word. So, that was a bit weird. =P ******
Title: Untitled Jounouchi was shooting bubble tea bubbles at street signs, and the 'plonk' sound they made punctuated both Honda's ranting and Bakura's inner monologue. Notes: *Snickers* This is just amusing. ******
