Notes:

I'm kind of on the fence with this one...there are several things I like about it, but also several things I don't like.  The notion of Kaiba and Jou being forced to coexist this way is quite amusing, if a bit poorly explained.  I like the interactions between Kaiba and Jou; how they change as time goes on and they grow closer.  I don't like some of the fanon used in this one...the bits with the darker halves, the ancient Egypt references (dude, Jou does not have an ancient Egyptian counterpart!) Plus, the characterization seems off in places.  Though, I can't quite decide how I feel about Jou in this one...I've always been a bit iffy on the 'Jou's dad is a violent, abusive drunk' bit of fanon.  Jou's attitude feels OOC, but considering that victims of long term abuse of that sort often do behave that way...it's hard to say, really.  All in all, it's a judgment call.
