I’m not sure whether or not to call this an angstfic. On the one hand, it is about Hisoka confronting his feelings for Tsuzuki in the aftermath of being raped and killed by Muraki, and it’s true that he spends much of the story terrified, furious, and in tears.  On the other hand, he deals with it.  Call it a “getting over angst fic,” I suppose.

Mercy of the Fallen

There are some things Tsuzuki just can’t live with. Like his job. His memories. His part in the death of innocents. Himself.  There are some things Hisoka just can’t live without. Like Tsuzuki.  Something’s got to give...

I have only one word to describe this trilogy.  Wow.  *_*  This author truly has an excellent grasp of the characters and portrays them beautifully.  Including dealing with Tsuzuki and Hisoka's many issues.  Very, very nice.
