There were a lot of cute/funny moments in this fic.  Like Shu singing along with the radio. ^_^  A bit of angst, but still some nice romance.  And I loved the ending. ^_^  And I await the next chapter of the sequel. ^^

These stories are all part of a continuing storyline, so I've listed them together and in order.  Also, note that there are other stories that follow the ones I listed; I just haven't read them yet. ^^;;  Hence, no rec for them yet.

There were several things that I liked about these stories...The characters were portrayed nicely, we get some Uesugi family interaction, and there are some really interesting cultural bits.  Actually, quite a few of them. ^^  The first story felt a little rough; in my opinion, the later ones are better.  But I still liked it well enough. ^^

I read this fic on a whim, and I'm glad that I did.  It took a scenario that you don't see often and created something good.  I really liked how the author portrayed Yuki...the other characters, too, but I'm a sucker for a well-written Yuki. ^^  There were even a couple of funny scenes, despite the serious nature of the story.  (Yuki in the station, with the kid reading over his shoulder.  Utterly awesome and hilarious!)
