I liked how Yuki kept his cool exterior, though he was actually a bit unsure.  I didn't like how the prose turned purple in a few places, and Yuki felt a tad too mushy at times, considering the time period that this takes place in.  Over all, though, it was fairly good.

I actually haven't seen too many fics dealing with this particular part of canon, so it's interesting to find one.  I liked Shuichi's voice, and how he could read Yuki.  Though, it almost felt as though the repercussions from Shu's ordeal were overcome a bit too soon...though, truly, without some research, I can't be sure.  ^^;;  But the fact that the author did deal with them is certainly something; a lot of authors ignore them entirely. =P

I really like Yuki's voice in this fic.  Somewhat cold and cynical, yet like he's at a point in his life where he isn't quite so mean anymore.  Plus, it's a cute, kinda fluffy little Yuki/Shu piece.  There were only a couple of things that bugged me a bit, though not enough to spoil the story.  (Isn't Yuki's mother dead?  And I just can't see Yuki saying that his ideal man is "someone tall and strong, manly and hairy and maleness personified"  *Snickers*)  Also, the spacing is a tad strange, but still easily readable.
